Indonesia Electricity Supply Business Plan

CNBCIndonesia.com wrote about PT PLN (Persero) which is currently working on changes to the Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL) with the government, in this case the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MoEMR). PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo said that his party would immediately announce a new RUPTL in the near future. At least the new RUPTL which will be launched is reportedly also in line with the National Electricity General Plan  from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Darmo said that the changes to the new RUPTL are estimated until 2040. In this new RUPTL, his party has mapped out the mix of new and renewable energy (NRE) as a base load on a large scale in areas and locations that are quite far from demand locations.
