Coal supply for Indonesia's electricity is safe

In early January 2022 there was news that the supply of coal to meet the fuel needs of Steam Power Plants experienced scarcity so that there is a temporary ban on coal exports to save the supply of domestic needs.

There are two other triggers.
1. High price of coal in the world market up to 200 dollars per ton when compared to the domestic price benchmark of 70 dollars per ton.
2. Economic growth and increasing world electricity needs along with the decline of the coronavirus outbreak.

Japan and South Korea hope that coal supplies from Indonesia will not be stopped because it affects their economic conditions.
