Brackish Water

Desalination Plant consists of Filtration and Desalination section itself where the product of water collected into Pretreated Water Basin, however the outlet conductivity was still high > 600 µs/cm so that’s way need to be reduced more before entering Demineralization Plant which need outlet conductivity 0.01 µs/cm for Main Plant Process.

Trial for Brackish operation already done last year as simplified drawing as below by pumping back Permeate Water from Pretreated Water Basin A to Desalination section (Brackish Operation) via Flushing line which can reduce more the conductivity as collected into basin B and it use for Potable Water and as water inlet to Demineralization Plant.






Brackish Operation Mode right now still under observation by Water Treatment Plant section and for validation result, they need to be separated from original line pipe as picture below.
