Boiler Tube (bottom slope) Research Part 2

Please visit Boiler Tube (bottom slope) Research Part 1 for previous explanation.

The condition of a pipe 1 received can be seen from figure 1.2. Then visual inspection to detect the location of damage of the pipe. The result can be seen in pictures ( a picture 1.3 - picture 1.7 ).

The visual inspection conclusions may be drawn as follows:

1. Found some defect caused by plastic deformation on pipe that could have caused by foreign matter impact from outside pipe.

2. There is no found excessive deposit on the inside the pipe.

3. There is no found the corrosion damaged at inside a tubular passage, as pitting corrosion, caustic corrosion or any kind of corrosion that imperil.

4. There is no found any cracks or holes at inside tubular passage in experienced plastic deformation area
