Heat Balance

Power plant heat balance can be calculated by excel with additional program called winsteam, but the price is very expensive.

Condenser.
This calculation begin to condenser make up flow is 12 T/h. It means water losses for soot-blower, blow-down or any leaks is around 12 T/h.

LP Turbine Entropy 7.23 kJ/kg.K, 88% steam quality and enthalpy inlet and outlet according to the temperature are used for calculated Condenser heat balance 833.48MW. Condenser vacuum pressure influence to condenser performance as well.

Generator.
Generator input from turbine mechanical is around 754.8 and generator output as 710MW so the efficiency is 94%.

Low Pressure Heater.
We have 4 LP Heater that each handle extraction steam flow LP1 97.7 T/h; LP2 137 T/h; LP3 291 T/h and LP4 or De-aerator 353 T/h.
