Ash Transport

Every time when we do ash transport at economizer hoppers or at electrostatic precipitator (ESP) hoppers much better if we see the pressure line graph as long transporting.


















From the pressure vacuum graph we could see our ash transport successfully (the hopper can empty from ash) or not (the hopper created "rat hole", "bridge" or "plug".

1st Hopper transport (successfully empty).
The beginning transporting and the hopper at full condition, the vacuum pressure created at set value and at interval time. After the hopper is empty, the vacuum pressure will drop at almost ambient pressure.

2nd Hopper transport (rat hole created).
It is almost same when we successfully transport until hopper empty, the vacuum pressure created as long ash transporting but got shorter interval time.

3rd Hopper transport (bridge created).
As long ash transporting, the vacuum pressure created as high as at 1st and 2nd hopper but at shorter interval time and after transport the vacuum pressure still created.

4th Hopper transport (plug created).
As long ash transporting, the vacuum pressure created and never drop.
