Boiler Flushing after contaminated from sea water

It was beginning from start up that ventilator valve was not close so that steam was shoot to condenser tubes until broken. Almost 2 hours the condenser hot well contaminated with sea water so requested the Unit Forced Shut Down.

After repair on the Condenser Tubes, the Unit was progress to light off (firing) with flushing boiler tube until parameter chemist on the range.





Method of flushing as picture below is step one for created the pressurize steam on the boiler tubes.




Method of flushing as picture below is step two for depressurize steam by open HP by-pass valve and drained into condenser blow off valve.



Repeat to step one until chemist parameters met.
