Every power plant need very large cooling water consumption and water for process. Steam power plant where have 660MW load maximum capacity for examples need 44,135 m^3/h sea water for condenser cooling. For detail please visit http://idpowerstation.blogspot.com/2009/12/pumps-specific-speed.html and http://idpowerstation.blogspot.com/2011/02/condenser-calculation.html.
And the other sea water consumption, for the service water consumption where sea water flowing through desalination plant at least need 3,000 T/day for cooling blow-down tank, submerged scrapper chain conveyor water sealed, fire fighting and only 700T/day is used for water steam process.
In generally Nuclear power plant is the largest of water consumption every Mega Watt. It needs 445 - 870 gallon /MW, Coal fired 330 - 550 gallon/MW, gas power 118 -207 gallon/MW, solar cell 6 gallon/MW and wind power is 0 gallon/MW
Hello friends,
ReplyDeleteThe consumption of water plays a critical role in maintaining good health. Water reduces the risk of dehydration, which can have many undesirable effects. Thanks a lot....
I meant that too much water consumption can created water waste as well.
