When Unit start up for example cold start up, the turbine mode control (Turbine auto start up) set to speed control demand for rub check 400RPM, low speed heat soak 800RPM and high speed heat soak 3000RPM.
After Unit synchronize, the turbine mode control set to governor control for maintain turbine speed 3000RPM (50Hz) although initial load has begun and control valve opening set to full arc (to minimize thermal stress on control valves), and so change to partial arc (to get higher thermal efficiency).
After Turbine auto start up complete, change governor control to load limit control. In Governor control, speed regulating operation by speed control system is possible during load control by governor set, but in load limit control, no speed regulating effect during load control by load limiter.
Turbine load is controlled by changing the steam flow by control valve, the flow is controlled by each demand signal like governor demand or load limit demand.
Automatic load regulator is integrator that increase or decrease the output to the target level at the specified rate provides a load up or a load down.
HP Initial Pressure Regulator is prevent wet steam entering to turbine when the main steam pressure falls more than set rate.
Power Load Un-balance is event that the control valves closed to prevent rapid acceleration and resulting over speed after load rejection.
Governor Follower Load Regulator is governor setter automatically follow the value a little bit lower than a load limit set value.
Load Limit Follower Load Regulator is the load limit setter automatically follows to the value a little higher than the load demand.
After Load already 25% and set governor to maximum, turbine control will select to follow Unit Master Control and the control will be under Unit Master adjusted load increase or decrease manually by operator as requested the dispatcher.
